Short Wave or Shortwave (commonly referred to as HF or high frequency) radio frequencies range from 3MHz -30MHz.
There are several Amatuer Radio Bands within the HF frequency spectrum.
In the United States and some other parts of the world the 11m band is set aside for Citizens Band Radio or CB for short. CB frequencies can vary by country. In the United States with a few frequencies skipped for radio control hobby usage, the accepted frequencies are 26.965MHz-27.405MHz.
